Challenge:

STANLEY Infrastructure, a division of Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of large-scale tools. Given the nature of this division’s business, showcasing these extraordinarily large and powerful tools is costly. The challenge was to find a way to show off their products across brands to prospective customers without having to ship the exceptionally large pieces of equipment.

Solution:

TRICK 3D worked with STANLEY to deploy an augmented reality (AR)-enabled sales showroom application where STANLEY customers and sales can see, interact with and learn about the complex tools -- and their features and functions -- from any mobile device. Augmented reality offers the additional bonus of being able to experience the product in your actual space - as well as experience actual size and scale.

Result:

Potential buyers and customers have been able to achieve the peace of mind they need to make the purchase after seeing all of the product assets, as well as the photo-realistic looks and features, through the STANLEY ToolBucket AR application - and all from the safety of their home or remote office. Use of the ToolBucket application continues to soar across STANLEY.
